VIKTOR HALASIUK: “AN EXPORT CREDIT AGENCY IS THE REMEDY FOR THE RAW-MATERIAL DISEASE OF OUR COUNTRY”

On December 20th, 2016 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On ensuring the large-scale expansion of exporting Ukrainian goods by means of insuring, guaranteeing and reducing the cost of export crediting”. The law provides for the establishment of an export credit agency by the Cabinet of Ministers. This institution will focus on credit agreements’ insurance, reinsurance, guarantees, and on reducing the cost of credits for national manufacturers.
